The Journey of Polymer 80 Inc
Starting with injection-molded AR-15 receivers, Polymer80 expanded into AR-10 and Glock-compatible pistol frames. Polymer 80 is a brand that produces gun kits for firearms. These kits contain parts that can be assembled to create a functioning firearm. Each kit has a unique serial number, which is important for background checks and identifying the firearm. Polymer 80 also offers parts kits for those looking to customize their firearms. These kits are not considered “ghost guns” under federal law, as they are legally produced and sold. However, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) does regulate the sale and ownership of these kits and their assembled firearms. Individuals need to be aware of and comply with federal laws when purchasing and owning Polymer 80 kits.
Despite its innovations, Polymer80 faced challenges, including legal scrutiny due to the use of its products in crimes involving “ghost guns.” By 2024, the legal and financial burden led the company to cease operations and liquidate its assets.
We have temporarily stopped production of the Polymer 80 kits, and we are running our final sales for those who wish to benefit from ghost gun parts. For your safety and anonymity, we advise caution. To further protect your privacy and prevent any unforeseen circumstances, we strongly encourage the use of cryptocurrency for payments.
